See Ya Later!

Sale-A-Bration ends today! Where has time gone? I was so busy all through Sale-A-Bration this year, I hardly had time to play with any of the freebies!
For this card, I used the "See Ya Later" stamp set that I got free during Sale-A-Bration. Today is the last day to get your hands on all of the exclusive items.

I used the "Fresh Prints" designer paper from Stampin' Up! and the circle framelits to quickly cut out the white and red circles. I added a candy dot for a little pop of "sunshine"!

I don't know how the weather is where you are from, but it has been absolutely gorgeous here! 78 degrees and sunshine-I even got my first sunburn on Saturday....totally unexpected!

Well, I am off to stamp...
Thank you for stopping by!

Look Up to Father

This stamp set was calling my name last night. It is called "Look up to Father" from Stampin' Up! This is the only "Father" or "Dad" stamp I own. I love the tree image. I paired this stamp with a paper pack from Close to my Heart (CTMH) called "Timberline". There are several patterns in the pack. I LOVE it! It is so rugged...which is awesome for masculine cards, boys or camping scrapbook pages! It seems so hard for me to come across "rugged" paper/style in paper crafting.  I have all boys...I don't need all frills.

I added a retired button and some candy dots for simple embellishments. This card is pretty clean and simple. I think most guys are pretty simple, right?

Here is the stamp set used:
Thank you for stopping by! Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

Best Mate

I made this 5x5 square card using the High Tide designer paper and the Hello, Sailor stamp set. It was the first line of products in the spring mini catalog that caught my eye. I just had to have all of it! I really love the wide ribbon, but I am having a really hard time figuring out how to use it on projects....
I cut the circle and squares with the circles and squares framelits. I added some gold sequins for some bling...because I have a hard time making anything without a little sparkle.

This is a great card to give to that special guy in your life. My Hunny will be receiving this card at some point. I definitely need to get to work and use up all this lovely designer paper!

Thanks for stopping by!

Bridal Show & Randy Fenoli!

My friend, Marion, and I had a Stampin' Up! booth at a recent bridal show here in town last weekend and we got to meet Randy Fenoli! (from TLC's "Say Yes to the Dress") How cool is that? By the way...Please don't mind how frumpy I look-by this point in the day, I was hot, tired and hungry. Anyways, Randy was the guest speaker for the show and, let me tell you, his message isn't just for brides. He is a wonderful speaker with such an inspiring message. He is such a genuine person...you can tell that about him right away.

So, wondering where I have been lately? This event took a lot of prep work. Our booth was a DIY theme for brides. We had tons of samples on display, as well as two make and take booths.

Here are some pics of our booth:

Isn't the sign so cute? Marion created this with vinyl!

Well there ya have it...this is what I have been up to lately. I have been stamping for fun here and there in between the running. I feel like I haven't stopped running circles since...well...since I quit my job! Seriously! I feel like I never slow down. I really do have several cards to share with you and I really will get them posted. Now that this bridal show is over...I don't see any big projects in my near future. I have to stop taking on too much...that's for sure.

Thanks for Stopping by!
